Entry conditions for the IASRE Japan ‘PDR Championships’ held from Tuesday 11th to Wednesday 12th December 2018.

 

  1. Registration

Registration for the ‘Japanese PDR Championships’ can be submitted in writing, or over the Internet.

 

Deadline for registration will be 30th November 2018.

The organiser reserves the right to limit the number of participants (according to date of registration).

 

The participation fee amounts to € 85 ex. VAT.

 

The fee is payable in advance; two weeks before the beginning of the fair at the latest. Please remit the amount due to the followed given bank account:

You will only be entitled to take part in the competition after payment of the full amount. There will be no refund in the case of cancellation.

 

  1. Entry Qualification

 

Any dent specialist is qualified to enter the competition who has proven pdr working experience for a minimum of two years. There is no entitlement to admission.

 

  1. Vehicles

 

For reasons of compatibility, there will only be vehicles manufactured by the same make or of the same type presented.

 

  1. Damage

 

The damage to be fixed will be deliberately done. Each participant shall work on two dents. Bonding technique: roof frame

  1. Allocation of Dents to Participants

 

The individual dent per participant will be allocated by drawing lots.

The damages will be unmistakably marked according to the ticket number. Each participant will be issued one ticket.

 

  1. Tools

 

Each participant shall exclusively use his/her own tools including lighting.

A 100V power connection will be provided by the organiser.

Should any participants use 12V systems, please make sure to bring the necessary batteries and adapters. The vehicles will be disconnected from the no on-board power system during the contest.

 

  1. Violation of Rules and Regulations

It is ABSOLUTELY NOT PERMITTED to use drills on the vehicles. The dents worked on must not be smoothened with sandpaper.

 

NO electric gadgets, e.g. Multiliner or else, must be employed during the contest.

 

The use of electrically operated polishing machines is PROHIBITED.

The vehicles will be positioned in a secluded area. During the contest, only the respective participant and members of the jury will have access to the area.

 

Any breach of one of these regulations will result in the immediate disqualification of the participant. The participant will be held liable for damages caused by intend or gross negligence.

 

  1. Schedule

 

Registration and Distribution of Ticket Numbers

(Tuesday 12th December 2017, 10:00 – 10:30 hrs.)

The participants will be told their individual starting time.

The participants are expected to report to the jury 10 minutes before the start. The participants’ performance will be recorded by means of a stop watch. Each side of the vehicle must only be worked on by one participant.

 

  1. Time Frame

 

Maximum Repair Time: 60 minutes (for both parts)

 

  1. Assessment

 

The assessment will take place right after the repair job by 3-5 jurors (specialists, expert technicians) by means of technical aids (dent reflectors, dent-removal lights).

The assessment will take place according to a score system (quality-plus-time).

 

  1. Cancellation

 

In case of cancellation, the attendee shall be entitled to claim against the organiser for reimbursement of the fee. Processing fees paid over and above the participation fee shall not be reimbursed.

 

  1. Image and audio right

 

Cars & Competence and/or companies affiliated to the organisation of the IASRE and or its designees are entitled to use the images, likeness and/or voice by any technology or means. Use, perform, display and distribute such recordings of the attendee for any legitimate purpose, including but not limited to distribution by means of streaming or other technologies via the Internet, TV, print or distribution of audio or video files (e.g. podcasts) or any other kind of media that may be develooped in the future. The permission is granted on a worldwide basis without any limitation in time or runs. The participant understands and agrees that there will not be any compensation, now or in the future in connection with the exercise of the rights granted hereunder. The participant of the pdr-championship agrees not to take action or cause others to take action which would or could infringe on the rights of the IASRE GmbH.

  1. Possible Alterations

 

The organiser reserves the right to make changes at short notice, should it necessary or appropriate.
